The Rivera Chubster is a combo tube amp with 40W of EL34 power, 5 12AX7 preamp tubes, and a Celestion G12L-55 rear-mounted speaker housed in an extra deep open-back enclosure. The Chubster amp delivers rich and fat low end, and spongy sweet mids and highs for an overall pleasing tone. Like most Rivera amplifiers, this 1x12 version has features that include 2 fully independent preamp channels, each with its own distinct voicing (British and American), and footswitchable boosts delivering 4 easy-to-dial-up sounds, preamp/power amp patch loop, and line out. This Rivera amp sounds much bigger than its size and is affordably priced.
