Well-known resonator guitar innovator Tim Scheerhorn has collaborated with Wechter to produce several unique Scheerhorn models. The 6524-F Square Neck Resonator Guitar features several Scheerhorn touches including hard maple saddles with proprietary Scheerhorn model black caps, Scheerhorn internal resonator baffle, and a cone specified by Tim Scheerhorn. The 6524-F Resonator Guitar also features a maple top and maple back and sides, rosewood fingerboard with flush maple fret markers and dot inlays, and die-cast chrome tuners. The square neck resonator style guitar was made to be played as a lap instrument typically used in bluegrass music. The 6524-F also comes equipped with GHS TS1600 Tim Scheerhorn Cryogenic phosphor bronze Resonator strings.
