Completely integrated for use with NOTION Music products only, this sound expansion kit adds the sounds of a contemporary rhythm section to NOTION's traditional orchestral library. The sounds themselves where provided by Grammy Award winners, drummer Roy Wooten and bassist Victor Wooten of Bela Fleck & the Flecktones, and guitarist Vernon Reid of Living Colour fame. For this compilation of samples, a wide variety of microphones and recording equipment at the infamous Electric Lady Studios (NY) and Dark Horse Recording studio (Nashville) were used to capture each instrument played with multiple techniques and dynamics. Taking directly from notation, this sample library provides not only superb drum set sounds, but upright bass, Fender Rhodes electronic piano, and Hohner Clavinet too.
