Each MIDI channel may be assigned a unique curve, allowing a MIDI controller's velocity sensitivity to be matched to individual sound modules in a MIDI setup. Velocities may also be assigned based on a selected incoming Control Change value. All settings are retained even after power is removed from the unit. The Velocity Converter is programmed by sending it MIDI System Exclusive messages. Once programmed, its settings are retained even after power is removed.The Velocity Converter is MIDI-powered and requires no batteries or power supply to operate. A MIDI indicator LED lights up when the product is powered and flashes when MIDI data passes through it.
